The Honourable Councillor Accompanied by the Former State Security Adviser  (North) Now Chairman Ogoja/Yala Development Commission Mr Leo Iyambe, Connel victor Ejong, Major Victor Aggrey, Mr Mfam Frank and the Chairman & Secretary Cross River State Surveillance team Mr Sylvester Iruma & Mr Joseph Igbodor paid a visit to the Clan head of Mbekpin clan, Mfom 2 to Advocate for Peace.



In his Words: The Majority Leader condemned in strong terms the wanton destruction of lives and property among the Mfom people
And pleads that there should be a cessation of hostilities from the parties involved to pave way for the return of peace to the community. And also allow the Security Agencies to do their Job by bringing the Culprits to book.



Mr Leo Iyambe, who is also a Bakor Son, shuns the action saying 'Its not in our gene to kill one another, destroying Properties, Looting and burning houses'. The former State Security Adviser added that machetes and cutlasses be dropped so that peace can be given a chance to return to the community.

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi State, Prof. Chinedum Nwajiuba has commiserated with staff, students and the entire University Community on the sudden demise of the Dean, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Prof. Robert Nneli and a driver, Mr. Dan Nwangbo. Recall, the sad event took place on Thursday, 13 th   April, 2017 in a fatal road accident at 135 Ezzangbo, along Abakaliki – Enugu expressway.
