CALABAR-OGOJA RAILWAY PROJECT PRINCE AWUP GABRIEL WRITE AN OPEN LETTER TO SENATOR PRINCE BASSEY EDET OTU.

17th August,2024

His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Otu Executive Governor of Cross River State, I greet you with love and happiness as one who believe so much in your people's first leadership style and and as one who work tirelessly to make sure you come out victorious in the last election. This is my second open letter since you took over the affairs of government of Cross River State. I pray this letter meet you well so that the content will be well understood.

His Excellency sir I saw an article captured "Gov Otu flag off grand breaking of Calabar-Ogoja rail way project" this drew my attention and prayer for it to be a success. But after a careful and critical thinking i am force to believe that the restoration of "The Crossline transportation company" will be more achievement and helpful to Cross Riverians than the said railway project.

Cross River State have a very big debt profile and a heavy debt occasioned by the none payment of gratuity to our retirees from 2011 to date. It is on the above that i I am writing as a concern Cross Riverian who pray and wish your administration succeed that you have a rethink and and consider Bringing back Crossline transportation company as against starting a new railway project which possibility of completion is narrow because of the financial strength of our dear state.

The restoration of Crossline transportation company will help create direct employment for Cross Riverians and reduce the cost of transportation and cost of living and make life easier for all citizens and inhabitants of Cross River State ..

Prince Awup Gabriel Momnang writing from Ogoja local government Area
