Earlier today, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment Mr Ebong Thomas was at Urban sites in Ikom,Obudu,yala and Ogoja.  During his visit to Ogoja, He was received by the Executive Secretary OUDA Mr Anya Jude together with his counterpart from Yala Mr Egri Mark Laffin. During the working visit, the Executive Secretary OUDA gave a detailed presentation on the structure, operations, ongoing programmes, plans and challenges of the agency to the Permanent Secretary. In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary appreciated the enormity of the mandate of the agency and the challenges experienced, but encouraged the Executive Secretary and his team not to deter in carrying out its mandate within extant laws as the agency will be given full support of the Ministry. The Executive Secretary expressed his deep gratitude to the executive Governor Sen.
